    Thank You!

Posted by Jim Velez on 20th Feb 2021

I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Ice Runner Expedition. It is everything I had hoped it would be. I am 71 years young, and decided it was time that I ice fish in comfort. This unit will help me accomplish that goal.  To begin, the unit was assembled and shipped to my house in about a week.  Awesome turnaround time. I added what I think is a very reasonable rate to have the unit assembled prior to shipping. I am very glad I did. Because the unit is new, and I am new to the unit, it took a few minutes to set the unit up in my garage. I was however, able to accomplish this by myself.  Keep in mind...71 years young. The unit is huge, yet I am able to lift it up to the tailgate of my truck and slide it in.  I like being able to sit on the sled floor, off the ice, and with whatever chair is to my liking.  Multiple window openings allow for natural light, and ventilation. One minor suggestion. I would like to recommend that the manufacturer install a grommet hole in each of the corners of the skirt to allow the option of pinning the skirt and ice house in place. I am going to do so myself. I believe the Ice Runner Expedition will be all I wanted in a portable ice house.

    Room Shack

It’s got plenty of room and easy to setup and tear down. I only got to use it a couple times this year. A couple of my friends got to fish out of it with me and they liked how big it was, also. One guy really like the storage pockets and how easy it was to heat for as big as it was. I’m definitely looking forward to getting it out more next winter!

    Big & Easy

I love walleye fishing which means late night action. Fished out of portables for over 30 years and often got frustrated with taking them down in the dark. This by far has the easiest setup and take down process I have used. Very warm house as well, last weekend coats off and no heat needed much of the day in 15 degree weather.

Great house lots of room easy to load and set up by yourself. The access being in the back is the only way to go.

    Nice House

Use this house for angling and spearing. The many windows make it great for angling and still is dark enough to spear with windows covered. Low profile sled with mid zipper cover carries all equipment and stores easily.Highly recommend this house.

    Great purchase

Posted by Larry on 20th Dec 2017

since lakes are not all froze over i was forced to fish a lake i had not been on before. The walk from the landing was much longer than i wanted it to be, i dont think i would have been able to drag my other house this far but my ice runner made the walk easy, so light and smooth on the ice. Every time i use this house i find something else i like about it, so glad i bought this house.
